My Review:
It’s not in my nature to read a romance novel, but this title intrigued me because, well... I love books. It was almost as if this book was calling my name.
The irony of that is the subject of the book itself.
The whole story revolves around an enchanted library that literally comes to life through its books. Characters hop right out of the pages and interact with the humans who open them—and sometimes even a cheeky cat finds itself up against one!
Trouble is definitely to be had, but romance blossoms throughout. Although the romance itself isn’t much of a surprise, there are a couple of twists, right up until nearly the end, that I absolutely did not see coming.
This book was really terrific, and I couldn’t help finding myself wishing I could be a librarian in this particular library, just so I could discover a glowing book or two of my own.
