KID LIT BLOG HOP-October 2016 #KLBH #KidLitBlogHop

We want to welcome you to the October 2016 Kid Lit Blog Hop. Fall is here and Halloween is in a mere two weeks...WOW! There are some really great Halloween and Autumn books out there for children. We have seen some listed already. How about you share some of those on our monthly hop or for that matter, any great kid's literature. We love it all!

Have you seen the Kid Lit Blog Hopper Facebook fan page. This page has all the news and information related to the hop plus ongoing posts, giveaways, news articles, etc. related to Kid's Lit. Check it out and of course, please like the page.

This monthly hop, is designed to engage a group of people who love everything that has to do with children's literature. Everyone is welcome to join us: bloggers, authors, publicist, and publishers!

So for our hop, please make sure that your posts are related to Children’s literature only and add it to the linky. (Please make sure to add your direct post only) If you are an author, feel free just to link to your blog.

Once you are done, then hop around to visit others. Please follow the co-host and visit at least the one or two people above your link. Please leave a comment when you do visit, we all like those.

Also, it would be appreciated if you grab the Kid Lit Blog Hop Badge and display it on your blog and/or your post. Note: Make sure you have the newest badge as the old one goes to the wrong page.

We would also be grateful if you tweet and/or posted on Facebook about the blog hop. Let’s grow this wonderful community.

Our next hop will be January 18, 2017. We will be taking a break for November and December. Happy Holidays to all of you and thank you for coming back month after month.

Kid Lit Blog Hop-June 2016 #KidLitHop, #KLBH

Hi Everyone! I am excited you all are here again for this month of Kid Lit. I appreciate all of you coming back time and time again to discuss everything related to children's literature.
I would like to ask if you have the logo still attached to Mother Daughter reviews, to change it to go here. There is no information for the hop there anymore and all comes from here. Thanks for that!
Although THIS book is actually considered YA, I think it is worth taking a look at. The story is short, only 40 pages but I did enjoy it. Happy hopping everyone! M.M aka Naila Moon

Kid Lit Hop #68 #KidLitHop #KLBH

Kid Lit Blog HopWelcome to the 68th Kid Lit Blog Hop where we continue to develop a dynamic and engaged community of children's books bloggers, authors, publishers, and publicists. So, you are always more than welcome to join us by popping in a post and hopping around to meet some of your fellow Kid Lit bloggers and authors!

*** Before I get started on my review, I wanted to announce that Renee from Mother Daughter Book Reviews, who began the blog hop, is leaving. She may not have wanted this announced, but I wanted to recognize her contribution to spotlighting kid's literature. Thank you for all you have done and I hope we all make you proud as we move forward. I still look forward to your highlighting great books and all the reviews you and your children do.

Having said that, I will be taking over in Renee's place as the main hostess but the majority of all the wonderful co-hostess we have will remain too. My hope is you will continue to join us. There will be some changes, but very few to keep things going smoothly. One big change will be that the hops will only be once a month instead of twice a month. This will begin in November, so stay tuned.

Now, on to my own kid lit books. This time, I want to feature an author whose book I just read. He is not only an author but illustrator too. The series looks fantastic. Introducing: Troy Cummings. Enjoy the review.  ~Naila Moon***

Kid Lit Hop Episode 51 #KidLitHop

Kid Lit Blog Hop
Please post our button

Hello one and all!  I am truly excited to be co-hosting another Kid Lit Blog Hop where we continue to develop a dynamic and engaged community of children's books bloggers, authors, publishers, and publicists.

This is our 51st episode of the hop. Enjoy hopping around and meeting some Kid Lit bloggers and authors! Of course by all means, post your own Kid Lit post and we will be by to see you.

Please read the rules below and enjoy the Hop!

This year, as last year, I decided to join several reading challenges. It is exciting to finish them knowing I had read some great books.

This year I have challenged myself to incorporate more diverse books into my reading and reviewing. I feel it is necessary for children of all races, abilities and home life to see themselves in books. I feel it gives kids a sense of self worth if they can read about kids just like them.

If you follow me, you have probably seen some books already. Be watching for more and join me January 27th when I, along with several other bloggers, celebrate Multicultural Children's Book Day.

This is a book I recently reviewed: Dancing Drum

I am extremely excited because I was invited to be a permanent host for this fantastic,semi-monthly blog hop.I have a love of books, especially children's books that runs deep. I believe in bringing children good literature and I hope that you will find many of those here.

Just yesterday, I started my month long homage to holiday books.
I reviewed a book called Liesl's Ocean Rescue which is not a holiday book but was one that I had in cue to review. Check it out and of course follow me all month.
