#Review: Have You Filled a Bucket Today? by Carol McCloud/ Illustrated by David Messing #atozchallenge, #Kidsbooks, #review

Summary:
Through simple prose and vivid illustrations, this heartwarming book encourages positive behavior as children see how rewarding it is to express daily kindness, appreciation, and love. Bucket filling and dipping are effective metaphors for understanding the effects of our actions and words on the well being of others and ourselves.

My review:
This fantastic little book is wonderful to teach kids to be kind to one another. In fact, I personally think this book should be read by adults too who need to learn this lesson as well.

The book is written with an easy concept that children can understand and it encourages them to "fill their buckets" up on a daily basis. I love this!

Maybe if we all took the lessons learned from this book our world would be a nicer place to live in and so many people would not be fighting, sad, or depressed.

I have always thought if you teach a child the concepts of kindness and appreciation early, they will hopefully grow up into adults that do.

This book has won several awards including the "Mom's Choice" award. Simply put, it is a no brainer why.  The illustrations are bright and easily to accept. The writing is great and understandable even for the youngest of children.

I give this book 5 stars!
