#Review: "Montreal" by Debra Schoenberger

Summary:
Street photographer, Debra Schoenberger aka "girl with camera" captures the more unusual side of Montreal in her foot travels around the city. The images portrayed in the book are from 2010 to 2014

My Review:
I was intrigued when I found out this author/photographer had shot photographs for National Geographic. Like her, I grew up with practically a camera in my hand so, I could relate to her and her eye for the different.

Her book showcases photographs she took on the streets of Montreal, Canada. They are a mixture of black and white with just over 60 pages of photographs for one beautiful book. I especially liked her black and white photographs as this is a favorite for me to look at. The observer has to only imagine what the lens did not reveal.

Some of the photographs were of people in everyday situations but many were quirky which added to the likeness of the book as a whole.

Overall, this was a wonderful photo book and great conversational piece for any home.
I give it 4 stars.
